Week before finals

I haven't decided whats worse yet, finals, or the preparation for the finals. All I know was this past week was long, hard, exhausting mentally and physically, and plain rough. Monday I sat down and advised a plan. It was going to be the exact thing that helped me stay focused and get through the next two weeks in a safe manor. You can't really tell by this picture, but my week was pretty packed full of studying.

Whenever you have something big like finals, that takes a lot of preparation and work there always has to be a reward. Well me and Rylee came up with a game plan that if we made it through studying, and finals we would reward ourselves.. We're secretly hoping the parentals will take pitty on us, but we did a contract. Yes its that official. Where if we succeed this next week we get to treat ourselves to a nice night out on the town, Temple Square, Dinner, and of course some shopping. Lets hope for the best this upcoming week.

Tuesday night we got hit with an unexpected, foot of snow. There was so so much, and it all happened within a 12 hour time period. Ya it was kind of crazy.

No worries this selfie was taken at 12:30 after helping out and playing in the snow!!! It was freezing cold,  but totally worth the loss of sleep!

You can only study for so long right?... I thought I had done good all week, so when the opportunity arrived of me leaving negative 17 degree weather to go to St. George to the temple, I of course took it. I knew it would be one of my last times doing baptisms down there for a while and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Me, Rylee, and Sadie met up with our friends that are going to Dixie to spend the day at the temple. It had been a crazy week, and probably was the only thing that kept me from going crazy. We truly are blessed to have so many temples so close. I love being able to take off from school and just go and enjoy my time in the temple.
After we got done doing baptisms for the dead, we treated ourselves to some good ol home cooking... or Texas Roadhouse! Ha we had had a rough week and definitely deserved it!
Just walking around the visitors center.

They had it decorated so cute for Christmas. It definitely helped put me in the Christmas spirit. I guess with all the stress and everything lately I have kind of forgotten what month it even is. Luckily, between my institute lesson on Tuesday and the trip to the Temple, I have definitely remembered how blessed we are to be celebrating this holiday, and what it truly means!

Grateful this place is my castle!

Who knew that they put up lights around Christmas time in St. George... Not me! It definitely reminded me of home, and of Temple Square!

... I made yet another trip home this weekend. I didn't know if i was going to be able to because of the snowy weather and bad roads, but things ended up working out, and I was able to come home again. It has been a good weekend at home for the most part. Miss Khloe got baptized!!!! So, that was fun to be able to watch and be a part of.

It's so crazy to think she is eight! Goll, I guess it just means I'm getting old :)

Tomorrow I get to head back down to Cedar for 4 days to take finals. I would probably do anything to get out of it.. but since that isn't going to happen I guess I'll just smile and get it over with! ... Here's to hoping you all have a better week then I do!!! ... There will be some new interesting things up on the blog shortly.. Will just say my life is about to get super interesting, and exciting! ... anyways :)...

Hugs and Loves from.... <Cedar>.. sorta :)
Loves!!!!
