Playing Catch up!

It has been a little while since I have posted something on here, I feel like I have a lot of catching up, and probably even more explaining to do. I have sat down several times to write a post, but the words just never really could come out. So I guess were going to start with what I have been up to as a college student lately :)

College is great. I definitely love it, but I am so excited to come home for a few days. It's hard to keep yourself entertained, especially when you are trying not to spend money... which is every college students problem. I'm in a completely different mind set then what I was when I first started. I always though I just wanted to rush through it, get it all done, and get it on with my life, but now I realize college is supposed to be enjoyed not just endured :)... haha Well anyways me and Rylee kept seeing hair bows, and so we pinterested it, and got in touch with our crafty side, which anyone that knows me knows this does not happen often, but it was fun and they turned out pretty cute especially for just learning!

 The beginning :)

Final Product:)... not to bad right!

This is how we get crazy at college! You all should be pretty worried, so worried that you maybe come down to Cedar City and check on me and make sure Im okay.. that would be pretty awesome :)!!!

This past week has been a little bit more entertaining then most weeks down here. Thursday I had the opportunity to spend the day in St. George. It's so close that I feel like it would be a disgrace if I didn't get up there and get warm quite frequently! This trip was a little different though, a group of us decided it would be cool to set a day specifically to attend and do baptisms for the dead. It was incredible to be able to attend and to take part in such an amazing ordinance that we are blessed to have and be able to do for these people that have passed on.
Anyways, funny story while were there right.. It's always a good time when you're at the temple with some older temple workers and stuff, but we got there and they were helping us, and after being asked a million times where we were from, we were able to do confirmations. Well Rylee went first, and the poor guy that was doing it had never done it before, and he struggled getting the words right. Me and Sadie just sat there with our eyes closed trying not to laugh, because what he was saying multiple times was clearly not right, but anyways we made it through that and it was great!!! The Temple was absolutely incredible and I loved being able to go to a new place, and still feel right at home.

We did some shopping afterwards and ate some good food... :) TIKI TIKI, yes mom you can be jealous, and then came home to some crazy rainy cold weather. All in all though the day was well spent!

Friday was great, maybe because I knew it would be the last Friday that I would spend in Cedar City as a college student for a while, or just because it had been a very long week, but me and Rylee watched the first Hunger Games, and then planned to attend the second later on that night, but instead met up with Jordan and Sadie for Dinner at Costa, laughed a lot, almost died in the snow a lot cuz jord struggles a little bit at driving in it, but all in all had fun. Instead of going to catching fire we relaxed and spent the night watching TV/Movies, eating brownies and laughing a whole bunch. It was relaxed and chilled and definitely much needed girl time!

Sometimes I wonder what I leave the house in, I guess this would probably be the reason why I haven't been on a date in a long while, but ya know those boys just don't know what there missing out on!

Saturday I woke up, and immediately started getting ready for the day, because I had slept in till 11ish and Me and Rylee were meeting up to to go the football game. After getting bundled up, we braved the snow, which there was a lot, and the freezingness and went and cheered on our t birds... until half time that is. College football just is too long!!! and kind of boring when you don't know anyone or even really care, but it was still fun to freeze and cheer with our fellow student body.

The field was covered and it was cold, but those games are always the funnest!!! We enjoyed it to a certain extent, until we couldn't feel our fingers or toes, so then we left to get warm! We treated ourself to some Chilis soup, and some divine Starbucks... hot chocolate that is. They have the best!! There just isn't anything that comes close to how good it is. Which is probably bad, because its a little pricey, but totally worth it!
We definitely make some cute cold cheerleaders thats for sure :)

Saturday night was spent going to the girls game with friends, which I love watching, maybe it's because I secretly wish I could be playing with them, but then I think again, and decide I would rather just watch, and then we watched the boys play after, and then got super spontaneous and went to a really late showing of catching fire!!! It was absolutely amazing and I loved it! Definitely a must see!!!

Life is super crazy, and stressful, but I can't complain at all, or I shouldn't :) I am pretty dang blessed!! Which leads me to thanksgiving!! I see everyones comments on facebook about how thankful they are, and it just makes me so happy! I am so grateful to have blessed with such awesome people in my life. Words can't express what you mean to me, or how I will ever repay some of you for the things you have helped me do, and helping to mold me into the crazy girl that I am today! I love you all!!! Be safe this holiday week, and slow down and really enjoy this time with your family!! There everything :) I know mine is!!

Odds and Ends and Catching Up :)

It's been a little while sense I actually posted about whats happening at college, so I figured instead of studying for my Econ test I'll blog instead, I mean i'll better be able to focus after doing this right.. probably not, but thats okay any ways. I apologize ahead of time, this is all over the place and crazy, but at least you can enjoy some pictures, and random thoughts right!
School is school, it kinda isn't really fun at all any more. Going to class is getting harder and harder, and staying focused is harder then that! We are on the down hill climb of this semester, and I'm hoping to just finish it out... It's becoming quite the challenge of motivation and determination on my part.
Halloween wasn't really the same. I guess I must of been living in a bubble or something, because I didn't even realize it was halloween until I saw people dressed up on campus.

This is the extent of my halloween adventures. We dressed up as the "three blind mice" ... or cats and went to the institute dance/gathering/free food thing. It was actually more fun to get dressed up, then the actual event itself, but thats whatever!
I've never put a picture up of my roommates, but this is one of them. Her name is Maria, me and Rylee dressed her up for Halloween, she went as me.. Jk

Im sure you all heard, or experienced the crazy weather that we have all been enjoying.. gotta love Utah right? .. sure :) I can't remember what morning it was, but i woke up to some pretty crazy wind, rain, snow, hail, weather. It was freezing... anyways I was walking up to the science building for my math class, when I heard these really crazy weird noises, followed by a thud.. Ya this could not be good, well in the mean time, this huge tree fell on the building right next to my math class. It was a little adventurous!!!
I really have no idea what we were doing or even when this was, but I know it was sort of late and Rylee had to go to her car. She took my straightener for protection against the bad guys. Needless to say, no one was injured in her pursuit to her motor vehicle :). Never a dull moment with us I swear :)
Tuesdays, are Taco Tuesday followed by institute. Me and Sadie talked Rylee into coming with us, and I think it's safe to say we had a good time. I must say institute is a lot better then seminary, either that or I'm a lot different then high school, and definitely appreciate it more!
Some of our favorite people made sure and sent us down with some cookie dough, so we could enjoy some cookies! It wouldn't really surprise me if I gain the freshmen 20 in just one semester.
This all took place last night, and I'm sure there will be more pictures and things blogged about it at the end of this week. My family is spending the week in St. George, and with that comes a serious spoiled Mishae. My parents stopped by giving me food, and gas money to make the adventures back and forth from Cedar to St. George this week. Well after a rough Monday, me and Rylee said the heck with college were gonna leave the snow behind and take a trip to st george. We went swimming in the hotty pool, aka the hot tub, laughed a lot and ate pretty good. It was a little rough waking up early to come to class today, but thats alright it was a lot of fun!
When mama is around guess what she has to do.. Yup Braids for days:) Nothing like having opposite hair styles huh??
This is such a terrible thing I'm about to do. For the past little while every time we go to St. George I gotta get me some Tiki Tiki Grill. Its absolutely amazing, and I have converted Rylee over to the ways to. In the past two weeks we have been there twice. It's amazing!!!!! I'll probably end up there again sometime before my parents go home!!!

Im sorry this was a little crazy, and every where, but that is basically how my life is going right now. It's a little every where and a lot a bit crazy.. YOLO though right ;) haha I sure guess so!!! Hope everyone is doing well, I think about you all often and miss you!!! Make good choices :)
